From my research has come all sorts of methods by which to support practice in schools. All these ideas are within the many publications, but here are a few resources for you to use.

Involvement analysis and demand schedules which  are tools created to measure practice within schools with a view to then improving that practice

Adult and child interactions tally chart  which is a simple way for schools to measure the type and frequency of interactions between staff and children
